How much does it cost?
Three formats. Digital STL pricing scales with date density — every keepsake is 50 mm × 85 mm × 35 mm, but Moment $5 · Chapter $10 · Legacy $15 sets how many days of tide fit along the long axis (about a week, a month, or up to six months). Resin sculpture is a flat $45 shipped regardless of tier — same physical object, same printer time. CNC aluminum heirloom is $125 shipped. Both physical editions include the STL download instantly with your order confirmation.
Is it based on real tide data?
Yes. SeasTheMemory pulls public NOAA tide data for your shoreline and dates, then shapes it into a keepsake. It is a creative interpretation of real data, not a scientific instrument.
Do I get to preview it before buying?
Yes. The preview comes first. That way you can see whether the place and dates create something that feels meaningful before you check out.
Do I get the file immediately?
Yes. Once payment confirms, the download appears on the success page. The link stays live for 30 days.
Can I 3D print it?
Yes. Keep it as a digital file, or send it to your own printer in whatever material you prefer.
Will the STL work with my printer?
STL is the universal 3D-print format, so it loads in any slicer — Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, Lychee. Drop it in, scale if you like, and print.
What if my preview does not generate cleanly?
If a preview can't be generated for a shoreline or date range, the site should say so clearly instead of spinning forever. If something still feels wrong, reach out through the contact page with your shoreline, dates, and order email if you've already checked out.
