How accurate is the tide data?
Pulled directly from NOAA — the same source the National Weather Service uses for tide predictions. Every ridge is a real day on the water at the closest tide station to your shoreline.
What size is the keepsake?
The digital STL is modeled at 85 mm × 50 mm × 35 mm — about the footprint of an iPhone. Moment, Chapter, and Legacy share these dimensions; the tier just sets how many days of tide fit along the long axis. Because you're printing the file yourself, you can scale it up or down to match your space.
What if my shoreline doesn't have a NOAA tide station nearby?
NOAA covers most US coastlines, the Caribbean, and major Pacific islands. We use the closest equivalent station. If we can't get within reasonable distance of your specific shoreline, you'll see an error before any charge — we won't sell you a file we can't authentically build.
Can I order multiple identical keepsakes?
Each digital file purchase is for one file you can print as many times as you like for personal use — common for weddings (one for the couple, one for each parent), memorials (one per sibling or grandchild), or cruise families. Resin and aluminum tiers are single-piece by default; contact us for multi-piece orders or sets.
How long does engraving last?
Engraving is built directly into the geometry of the STL — it's part of the form itself, not a sticker or surface decal. Whether you print the digital file yourself, order the resin sculpture, or order the aluminum heirloom, the engraving comes through with the shape and will not wear off with handling.
Can I preview before I buy?
Yes — the configurator above renders a watermarked 3D preview of your specific tide before any payment. The watermark is removed from the file you receive.
